How to Cure Acne Quickly at Home - Does Oatmeal Really Do Any Good?

By

I used to be like you. Young, full of life, and most importantly: ready to take on the world. I also used to have the same problems as you and most of the people your same age. I remember looking all over the internet trying to figure out how to cure acne quickly at home. Then one day I came across something that changed my life (my life in high school at least) and my skin forever! Oatmeal. But, does oatmeal really work? Does it do any good? As you read every word of this article you will understand why oatmeal works and how to use it effectively.
Lets take a quick look at what causes acne. Basically it is caused by natural oils from the skin, dirt, and bacteria that loves oil and dirt. It's kind of nasty if you think about it, but don't worry, keep following along. So, what happens is that throughout the day out skin releases this oil. This oil combines with the dirt on our face and in our environment which makes it a perfect place for bacteria to live and multiply. When the holy trinity of oil, dirt, and bacteria gets into our pores, it clogs them. This is where blackheads, pimples, and zits come from.
Now, knowing what we know about how acne is formed and what the major cause of it is, we can begin to figure out how to stop it. This is where oatmeal comes in. Well, I should say the mask of oatmeal and honey. It is very simple to make, just cook some oatmeal, mix it with some honey and smear it on your face. Leave it for about 20 minutes or so, and wipe off with warm water. We know it works, I know from personal experience, the question them becomes: Why does it work?
Lets look at oatmeal for a little bit. Oatmeal is dry, hence you have to mix it with water in order to cook it, if not you could just eat it out of the box, right? So, oatmeal soaks up water. When you put it on your face, it starts to dry out. As it dries out, it sucks up everything that is around it. Be it water, oil, dirt, dead skin, bacteria...whatever it is. This is called ex-foliating your skin. Getting all the bad, nasty stuff off your face and out of your pores. This is what every mask on the market is trying to do. Oatmeal does a great job at this. But, this is only half of the equation. The other important part is honey.
Honey is a natural antibiotic. Meaning that naturally, nothing (and I mean nothing) can live in it. Ancient Egyptians used honey for first aid. They would put it on a wound, and because nothing lives in it, they didn't have to worry about it getting infected. Now, how does this apply to making a face mask you ask? Great question, read on!
If bacteria loves to live in a wasteland of natural skin oils and dirt, yet nothing can live in honey, what do you think is going to happen? The bacteria is going to die because it can not live, simple isn't it?
I'm going to try my best to tell you something about yourself, and I don't even know you. You are looking online, trying to figure out how to cure acne quickly at home, you were afraid that you were going to have to spend a load of money to buy the best product available. This is the past, forget about it. All you should be concerned with is the present and future!
Now, all you have to do is go to the kitchen and cook up some oatmeal. If worse comes to worse, you will have to go to your local grocery and buy some to make. Either way, you have saved yourself a lot of money and stopped a lot of pain in the process. Now, the only thing left for you to do is check out Acne No More and see if there is anything else for you to learn!

Im 14 and i had the same problem. 3 things worked for me. 1 go to the doctor and ask for acne medication. it isnt expensive and the first time is free. 2 the netregena wave sonic worked very well but it takes a couple days for it to really get started. and 3 washing my face 3 times a day with warm watter and netregena face scrub. i had terrible acne for years but when i found those 3 things it all went away

Go to a dermatologist, or just a regular pediatrician and ask them.

They'll recommend one that actually works.

The best products that have worked for me have green tea in it. That's worked best for me when I had bad breakouts and always got rid of them after daily washing. All skin types are different though. I would test out several things for a few days and see what works best. Just make sure she isn't washing too much and using too much product. That will dry out and make her skin worse. If you can afford to go to a doctor and try whatever they have got for it. Otherwise buy different product brands and pick one to test for a week. Then keep switching out until something works. She just has to dedicate herself to a morning/nightly routine for the most effective results.
